Off the Grid SF
Off the Grid is a weekly food truck gathering in San Francisco, California. The event was started by Allison Arevalo and Seth Collins in 2008 and now has over 200 participating trucks. Off the Grid is open every Wednesday between 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and it takes place at Fort Mason Center on Marina Boulevard near Van Ness Avenue and Bay Street (the western tip of Golden Gate Park).
The concept behind Off the Grid is simple: gather together various mobile food purveyors from around San Francisco in one outdoor location for an afternoon where you can try out a variety of different eats without having to go anywhere else or wait more than twenty minutes for your food. It’s also fun because it gives you an excuse to get out into nature, take photos of all those delicious treats, meet new people, enjoy some awesome weather—you know what I mean!
If you want an idea of how many choices there are at any given week’s gathering (this will blow your mind): last year alone there were more than 75 vendors serving up everything from burritos to falafel sandwiches; each vendor at least had two options available so that means there were 150 options just within our sample size!

Little Spoon Cafe
If you’re looking for a nice cafe to grab lunch or brunch, Little Spoon Cafe is the place. They serve an array of sandwiches, salads and soups that are all prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Their menu changes seasonally, so there’s always something new to try.
If you’re not sure what to order, go with their classic turkey sandwich on sourdough bread topped with avocado spread and Swiss cheese! If you’re vegan or vegetarian they’ve got plenty of options as well—like their grilled vegetable panini which comes with pesto sauce and arugula on focaccia bread.
Little Spoon Cafe also serves beer and wine if you want something aside from water or soda while eating your meal (and who doesn’t?). It has a great atmosphere too—the walls are covered in artwork from local artists so it feels cozy yet still modern at the same time! If you come by late afternoon/early evening during weekdays there’s often live music playing outside so it makes for a great atmosphere if that sorta thing interests you 🙂
As far as price goes: prices aren’t too bad here compared to other places nearby like Panera Bread where everything costs twice as much but isn’t nearly as good quality wise either way–so go ahead give this place ago 🙂
Regrub
Regrub
Regrub is one of the most popular food trucks in San Francisco, serving food from Mexico. The truck is a pop-up restaurant, meaning it only parks in one place for a limited time. Regrub was rated 4.5 stars out of 5 by Foursquare users and has been recommended by Yelp reviewers as well.

The atmosphere at Regrub is casual; reviewers say you can expect to wait in line for about 20 minutes when the truck is parked near Fisherman’s Wharf or at Market Street on weekdays between noon and 2 p.m., but there are no lines during weekend lunch hours from 11 a.m.-2 p.m..
