Ingredients:
1 lb. hot Italian sausage
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. bacon, diced
1 onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions:
In a large pot over medium heat, cook sausage, beef, and bacon until browned. Drain fat and add onion and green pepper, cooking until softened. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, oregano, and thyme. Bring to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
Mix flour with 1/4 cup water and stir into the chili. Cook for an additional 15 minutes, or until thickened. Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream.
