Ingredients:

1 lb. ground beef

1 small onion, diced

1 green pepper, diced

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. dried thyme

1 tsp. ground allspice

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. black pepper

1 tbsp. olive oil

1/2 cup ketchup

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained

Instructions:

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the beef, onions, and green pepper until the beef is browned.

2. Add the garlic powder, thyme, allspice, salt, and black pepper, and stir to combine.

3. Pour in the olive oil, ketchup, brown sugar, red wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and diced tomatoes.

4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

5. Serve over rice or with Jamaican-style hard dough bread.
